She'th Tho Cute!

As Luey Gooey keeps growing, she surprises us all at how mature, gentle and sweet she is.

She also has the slightest lisp that makes everything she says seem more dainty.

She is good at playing with both her older brother and her little sisters.

And even though it has been hard, she has overcome her fears of all-day preschool. The bribe of a dollar for everyday she is brave was the golden ticket.

So now I bring her piggy bank when I pick her up from school so that she can put the dollar in herself. Of course, Caleb gets one too, only his is for good behavior at school. This started for him after he threw a fit (and a chair) over his dinosaur picture not working out. The dollar system works great on both counts. They are saving to go to Build-a-Bear.

Our favorite language mis-haps that Lucy has come up with lately are:

parrots = peppers
tunish/lishous = tissue
gonar = granola bar

Five Months

Time FLIES when you are having fun and we have been having with our little Siya! Today she turned five months and we had a girls afternoon to play while Baylub and Adam went and got their hair cut and played basketball.

We painted our toe nails pink pink pink. With all the squirmy piggies it was hard to get a good picture. Luckily, they stayed still long enough to paint them.

Siya is a chubby ball of sunshine wherever she goes. While we have been staying with our Meema, Grandpa just can't resist picking her up when she is chilling in her bouncer.

She is smiley and happy, but compared to my other babies, she still is her own little person. She loves to give kisses all the time, ie. she tries to eat your face. I love it. She loves her siblings so much. No one can make her laugh like her brother and sisters can. Baylub especially loves to make her laugh and Siya loves to have her siblings attention.

She is chubbier than the first three and we love her chubby rolls, especially to give her zurbits.

She is a good eater and sleeps well. Just like all the others, she still wakes up one or two times a night, but I know it's my own fault. I keep them right by my bed for months and months. I can't bear the thought of her sleeping far away from me yet. She still is just an extension of myself I guess.

I am so excited that Siya is my first girl to have hair! Baylub had the most beautiful thick curly hair on top of his head. I assumed that my girls would have the same beautiful hair, perfect for bows and ponytails. Lu and Jo took a year to produce a wispy mullet. I disguise it with pigtails from ages one to two and a half. Lu's hairline is still thickening up finally and she will be four in a while.

But Siya is pulling through. Her hair on top is now as thick as Jo's. It is not as bright blond, but I am already planning the cute hair styles I can do. Thank you Siya.

She is at such a fun age of grabbing her feet, staring at her hands, smiling at anyone, drooling like crazy and just making everyone feel good by showing up.

Hairs Cut

Since we have more wiggle room in our budget, Adam has decided to have a professional cut his hair. No more wife inflicted hack jobs. (I thought it was a great idea)

Baylub joined him today for his first non-Mom hair cut. It was a momentous occasion.

They grow up so fast, I need to document more of these happy moments.
