Baby Jo loves her dinner!

Time Travel

Here we are enjoying a leisurely ward corn roast at the beach when...

...BAM! I feel like I've gone back in time!

You can see some amazing ships on the horizon from the Dana Point Tall Ships Festival going on.

The one that looks like a pirate ship was shooting off something that sounded like a cannon, but I'm sure they were blanks, (if you can shoot blanks from a cannon)...

Angels in the Outfield... and the Bleachers!

My main squeeze Adam, got some free tickets to an Angels game. So, last friday night, we loaded up the kidos and watched 5.5 innings of baseball!

The kids stayed occupied by the popcorn I snuck in. Jo liked the game, but she really liked the Japanese couple behind us (to the left of me). I couldn't get her to stop staring and pointing!

Look at that excitement!

I was excited for Baylub. He LOVES the movie, "Sandlot," so he knew what baseball was and already decided he loved it. They had the movie "Angels in the Outfield" playing on a TV screen right at the entrance.

We were able to take some good pictures when we left because nobody else was leaving at that time!

It is so fun making memories.

rah... rah... rah rah rah!

We had a fabulous, last-minute, labor day weekend, Utah trip, spending time with our family. In one weekend we packed in a BYU football game (a first for Jo and Baylub)...

... Swiss Days...

.... my darling friends Emily and Sarah had the most awesome booth out of the booths up there!...

... four wheeling in the mountains and enjoying the start of fall colors...

...celebrating birthdays (my brother and Adam's mom)...

... and over-all had a grand ole' time. Thank you so much to everyone who made it so fun and memorable. We love and you miss you very much.

Goodbye rat tail...

I have been reluctant to cut Lulu's hair but her little tail just had to go.

You can't see very easily but the longest part of her hair goes to the middle of her back when wet.

She could NOT hold still, even when promised candy. If only I had that kind of energy.

The delicate hair she has had almost since she was born. (sniff sniff...)
Her hair looks so much better now. I'm glad we finally did it.
