We decorated some yummy Christmas cookies. I know that many people believe that they have the best sugar cookie recipe, but in fact, I have the best sugar cookie recipe. Unfortunately, I messed up the recipe a little bit. They were still good, just not as good. We all enjoyed decorating...

and eating...

and of course sharing with our neighbors.

We made the trek out into the crowds to meet Santa. I expected Baylub to be scared and Lulu to be excited. I was wrong. I don't know why this picture makes me laugh so hard but it does. Classic torturing of the kids.

While standing in line, I would guess that at least 50% of the kids that sat on Santa's lap were screaming. What a job! He was good to be so cheery and nice.

Festivities

Our holiday festivities have definitely begun. Thanksgiving was wonderful with the most amazing food and wonderful company. No pictures, but we enjoyed being with my family at my parents' house.

Halloween is far from over at our house. The kids love to still get in their Beauty and the Beast costumes and dance. Lulu's costume really is any pretty dress, so this a Christmas one from her MeeMa.

Belle had jam on her face in the movie at one point didn't she?

Baylub had a wonderful birthday. Now he is 3! He got so many Thomas the Train toys and everything else he could possibly want. He is definitely loved. This is him opening his presents and sticking his hands in his mouth because they are sticky.
Any suggestions on how to help him break the habit? Nagging doesn't seem to be working... We still love him though and are so happy he had such a happy birthday.

We had our annual gingerbread house decorating party with Adam's family. It was so fun and we are grateful to have been all together with everyone especially since his brother and family are moving to California soon. We wish them all the best and hope we can come visit soon!

Baylub was half naked so he wouldn't get frosting on his sweater. They sure got PLENTY of candy in their tummies. Definitely more in the tummy than on our gingerbread train.

The family with the finished product. We tag teamed it, one of use decorating while the other monitored the kids and then we would switch. Poor Baby Jo, I promise I usually hold her head up better than this.

Jo was born just ten days after her cousin. We tried to get photos of them together. Two newborns, so beautiful, but not very obedient when it comes to commands from the photographer.

We are loving the festivities and time with family. I know we have more to look forward to as well. We hope you all are having a happy holidays.
